These days, frequency of Margot Robbie‘s public appearances are akin to that of her film roles – only the crème de la crème – but we’ve learned to appreciate quality over quantity, on both counts.
While Robbie became a fast red carpet favourite in the early years of her career, now that her place on Hollywood’s A+ list is secured, she prefers to keep things relatively low-key.
But although exposure to the actress’ style is sadly lessened, each appearance only serves to cement her place as our perennial beauty muse.
Such was the case when Robbie took her front row seat for the recent Chanel Spring 2022 Haute Couture show. Wearing an oversized boucle coat thrown over a mini dress with white ankle boots (all Chanel, of course), Robbie continued the insouciant vibe with a relaxed beauty look.
Her signature blonde locks were darkened at the roots – tying in with the current celebrity propensity towards grown-out tresses and rich brunette tones – and hung in loose waves, with long curtain layers framing her face.
Her makeup was minimal, with natural peachy tones adding an element of colour alongside defined lashes and unstyled, barely-there brows (is this the end of the statement eyebrow? Perhaps).
The lo-fi look was giving laidback beach girl meets Le Marais chic, and we’re adding it to our 2022 beauty moodboard immediately.
