Once Upon A Time In Hollywood co-stars Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt have officially reunited on the silver screen for the upcoming Paramount Pictures film, Babylon. Set in Los Angeles during the 1920s (so back about four decades since their last film together), the film sees the rise and fall of several characters during an era of outrageous excess and depravity in young Hollywood.

Sitting at the helm of Babylon is Academy Award winning filmmaker Damien Chazelle. The likes of Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, Tobey Maguire, Samara Weaving, Olivia Wilde and Jean Smart join the star-studded cast ensemble. The first official trailer was released overnight and teases all the sartorial flair and frivolity of the original epic.

“It’s written in the stars: I am a star,” Robbies character Nellie LaRoy says in the trailer. “If I had money, I would only spend it on things that were fun, you know? Not boring things like taxes. I just want for everyone to party forever.”

For Australian viewers, the film will see an exclusive theatrical release from January 19, 2023. It will be just one of many movies Robbie is set to star in the coming months including the celebrity-fuelled Amsterdam in November and Greta Gerwig’s dark comedy Barbie next year.

As for Pitt, this could be one of the last films he ever appears in after it was revealed during an interview that he’s thinking of retiring from acting. Speaking to GQ in June he said, “I consider myself on my last leg, this last semester or trimester. What is this section gonna be? And how do I wanna design that?”
