Margaret Qualley is having a very, very good month. The actress sparked engagement rumours this week when she appeared on the red carpet for the premiere of Stars At Noon at Cannes Film Festival. She was photographed in head-to-toe Chanel with a diamond ring on that symbolic finger which she wore again the next day for a press conference.
Today a source for E! News has confirmed the news she is engaged to Bleachers musician, Jack Antonoff. The romance has proven to be a whirlwind one with the couple first sparking rumours of a relationship in just August 2021 when they were spotted kissing in New York City. Their romance went public earlier this year when they attended the 2022 Critics Choice Awards together.
A photo from the evening soon went viral when the 27-year-old shared a few snaps to Instagram from their evening, captioned, “Date night”.
Antonoff, 38, is a Grammy-winning musician who has worked with the likes of Taylor Swift, Lorde and Lana del Rey. Qualley is best known for her appearances in the likes of Netflix drama Maid and Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood.
In a recent interview with GRAZIA, Qualley’s mother Andie MacDowell gushed about how “brave” she was. “I didn’t want her to feel restricted like I was,” the 64-year-old said. “Not that I can take credit for what she is doing because my gosh, I don’t know, she is much braver than I ever was. But I know I played a part in that. That braveness, that sense of security with herself and freedom to explore anything without question. She’s doing it.”
Qualley has been linked to Pete Davidson and Shia LaBeouf in the past while Antonoff previously dated Lena Dunham. He was also rumoured to have dated Lorde though that was never confirmed.
