In anticipation of the imminent arrival of her bundle of joy, Lindsay Lohan has revealed that she and her husband Badar Shammas are having a boy. As per reports from TMZ, sources close to Lohan and Shammas have disclosed that the newlyweds are expecting the baby to arrive “pretty soon” with the early 2000s icon “very close to giving birth”.

Frankly, we can’t wait for the Y2K power pair that is Lohan and Paris Hilton to reunite for playdates with their respective sons.

The gossip publication also reports that Lohan’s mother, Dina Lohan, has joined the pair in Dubai for the baby’s birth. The couple currently resides in the Emarite city, where Lohan has lived for the past seven years after leaving Los Angeles by way of London—and of course that now-infamous Mykonos beach club.

Lohan revealed the news of her pregnancy via social media back in March 2023, sharing a stock image of a baby’s onesie with the phrase “coming soon” written across the front of the miniature garment with her 13.3 million social media followers.

The news came shortly before Lohan and her financier husband celebrated their first wedding anniversary after being married in secret in April of 2022. Shammas and Lohan have been together since 2019.

Given that many of us grew up watching Lohan as precocious twins in The Parent Trap and as a precarious teenager in Mean Girls, Freaky Friday and Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen, her move into motherhood is clearly her fondest role yet.

In a June interview, Lohan revealed that she’s the “happiest she’s ever been” and has even asked her own on-screen mother, Jamie Lee Curtis, for parenting advice. “I spoke to Jamie Lee Curtis recently and she was like, ‘You just bring the baby with you and everything will be fine’,” the actress revealed.

Along with welcoming her bundle of joy earthside, Lohan also shared she has a line of baby clothes and nursery products in the works, meaning that the littlest Lohan will be the best-dressed bub on the Jumeriah shoreline.

Sadly, the impending birth of her son means we won’t get a Mean Girls sequel any time soon, but he will be born by the time Nancy Meyer’s starts shooting on her next project. We wonder if she’s in the market for another freckled-faced and red-haired child star to introduce to the world.
