Hold the phone. Lana Del Rey is dating, of all people…a policeman?
On Tuesday, Entertainment Tonight snapped Lana Del Rey in Central Park with Sean “Sticks” Larkin, host of reality TV show Live PD Presents PD CAM and star of another reality TV show, Live Rescue. He’s also a real-life gang unit officer for the Tulsa Police Department in Oklahoma.
The 34-year-old showed off her fab pins in denim cutoffs, while Larkin, in jeans and white t-shirt exposing one tattooed sleeve, took photos on his iPhone. The 46-year-old is in good shape and he’s a good-looking silver fox, but still, a cop!
I dunno, we’re not ones to judge, but it’s a little unexpected from the woman hailed by Pitchfork as the “next best American songwriter”. How did they even meet? It’s judgy, sure, but we kinda expected a poet, artist, or chef…anything but a cop.
Sean C. Larkin is realllllly into Crossfit (just check out his Instagram) and he’s not opposed to the odd fishbowl cocktail, either.
Lana has not had a bunch of high profile romances since she became famous, but she reportedly dated rapper G-Eazy for a few months back in 2017 and has also been linked to James Franco, Marilyn Manson and Axl Rose.
The opening words on Norman F__king Rockwell, Lana’s rapturously received new album are “God damn, man child,” so maybe Lana just wanted a serious, mature man without all of the bullshit? Maybe that’s just what Larkin provides? What do we know.
Apparently he got the nickname Sticks when he chased a crim down the street without a gun or any weapon and tackled him. His colleague called him a “f__kstick” (how Australian!) saying he couldn’t do that. The name “stick” stuck, and later somehow morphed into “Sticks”.
Kinda hot, no?
Whatever. Let’s just hope he and Lana work out and he doesn’t wind up Sean “F__kng” Larkin.
