Boot season is well and truly upon us, and here to school us on how to wear a pair of boots this winter is none other than Kylier Jenner and her two year old daughter, Stormi Webster.
The defining shoe when it comes to winter dressing, subbing a sandal for a boot is a seasonal style rite of passage. But, not all boots were created equal.
Take Kylie Jenner and Stormi’s Webster’s boots, for example. Jenner stuck to her flashy fashion guns touting a neon orange pair; sky-high, pointed and slouchy through the leg. Stormi, however, opted for something a little more understated (and dare we say, age-appropriate), rocking a tan cowboy boot with low heel.

Captioning the image, “Woke up in the wild wild west 🧡,” Stormi’s tiny cowboy boot certainly echoes the attire of a day out “West”, although we’re not sure how the pair would really fare riding horseback through the wilderness (especially in those orange numbers, Kylie).
As we seek the warmth of booties this winter season, a bright boot is actually not a bad option to brighten a look and boost our mood (something we’re all in need of at the moment). Try your hand (or foot) at a pigmented boot and pair with a relatively modest, monochrome look; a pop of colour will both elevate and excite a neutral palette.

Or, if you prefer to take the back streets (as oppose to the high fashion road), take heed of Stormi and opt for a cowboy-style in neutral shades with a pleasantly ortho-friendly heel.
