Like bathroom vanities, wardrobes and handbags, there is something incredibly personal about the contents of one’s fridge. Blame it on curiosity or just good old fashioned nosiness, but it’s both interesting and fascinating to have first hand knowledge of not only what a person eats, but how they store their food.
Like basically every other topic in popular culture, the stakes rise considerably higher when the fridge belongs to a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family (remember Kim’s water only fridge that left the internet puzzled?). So you can imagine my delight when Poosh, the lifestyle website founded by Kourtney, shared a look into the fridge of matriarch and momager extraordinaire Kris Jenner.
As the co-founder slash CEO to countless companies, it will come as no surprise that Kris’ fridge is beyond comprehension. Like a six star resort or heaven, there are rows upon rows of the world’s finest delicacies, from Häagen-Dazs ice cream to (presumably organic) green vegetables. The loot hides behind three matte black doors, one for frozen goods, one for produce and the final one for snacks, condiments and vueve clicquot.
Despite the baffling number of capsicums (eight? really?) it is what my OCD dreams are made of. There’s no crumbs, no sad carrots rotting away in the crisper. Just perfect vegetables, sparkling surfaces and two types of mineral water (S.Pellegrino and Perrier, for those wondering).
While unobtainable and a little unbelievable, it’s still awe-inspiring. And now I know what sort of diet it takes to fuel one of the busiest and most successful women in the world. Bow down.
