Kim Kardashian may be a beauty mogul, innerwear designer, reality star, mother-of-four, law student, podcaster and hedge fund manager, but her hustle never quits. The billionaire is certainly not above making a quick buck online, evening reselling a range of old thongs—or flip flops—for $50 USD ($74 AUD approx.).

Posting a screenshot of a blue pair of Danward thongs to her Instagram Story, Kim wrote “shop my @kardashiankloset!” and shared a link to the sandals on Kardashian Kloset, which retail for $75 USD.

While they’re not quite the Balenciaga thongs she’s known to sport herself, they sold out almost immediately.

In addition to the blue design, the 42-year-old sold the same style in black-and-white, as well as a pair of second-hand Montbell thongs in “good condition” for $30 USD.

On Kardashian Kloset, you can find a plethora of the family’s pre-loved wears.

While some fans have criticised the star for selling pieces she had clearly received for free—her Yeezy sneakers, for example—prompting her to take some merch down, you can still find a host of wardrobe treasures on the site.

Although, from brand new Bottega Veneta to vintage Jean Paul Gaultier and Hermès, the prices aren’t cheap. One vintage Roberto Cavalli top that Kim was photographed wearing in October 2019 is listed at USD $2,995 ($4,415 AUD, approx.).

Another Hermès Birkin in matte beige alligator with some wear sits at almost $100,000 AUD. But for the big fans, the idea of owning a piece from the sisters is enough value to justify the prices.

In an episode of The Kardashians, Kim gave viewers a glimpse into her expansive clothing archives.

“I have so much stuff, and I’ve had so many different fashion eras,” the SKIMS founder said as she entered the literal warehouse where she keeps all the clothing she’s accumulated over the years. “I have thousands and thousands of clothes. I think I have like 30,000 pieces,” she admitted, adding that seeing where she’s ‘been’ allows her to develop a vision for where she’s going.

“I love seeing all this stuff, so I just want to see kind of where I’ve been and where I wanna go,” she explained, ruminating over her departure from ex-husband Kanye West’s styling.
