Five months since Riccardo Tisci announced he would be replacing Christopher Bailey as Chief Creative of Burberry, another bombshell: His first runway at London Fashion Week on Monday would be a celebrity-free zone.

Inside the London mail centre in South London, Tisci’s front row golden tickets were returned to their rightful owners: the fashion media. “No celebrities at this @burberry show” tweeted New York Times writer Vanessa Friedman.

Yes, despite Tisci’s close connections with the Kardashian crew, there was only one in attendance and she was on the runway: Kendall Jenner. Making her catwalk comeback since reportedly struggling with anxiety, 22-year-old Jenner wasn’t present on the New York Fashion Week circuit recently nor on any of the AW18 runways. In a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, her mother Kris Jenner cited her daughter struggles with the condition, so much so, it can affect her work. “Kendall struggles from anxiety and I think she has so much going on that she gets herself worked up.”

In a beige trench and embellished fringing, Burberry featured Jenner on their Instagram, a nod to her consumer influence. The model joined Winnie Harlow, Jourdan Dunn and Irina Shayk.
