This year’s Met Gala theme was Guilded Glamour, giving the A list every opportunity for gold, crystals and tiaras (I spotted no less than three) on the iconic red carpet leading up the Met steps. But after the formalities – and adhering to a strict white-tie dress code – many attendees ditched their floor-length gown for the Met Gala after-parties, opting to amp up the sex appeal in LBDs, see-through lace numbers and crystal-embellished bras.
While Kim Kardashian and her beau Pete Davidson headed home for a pizza and doughnut party, her sisters Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian each hit the Standard Hotel’s post-Met party with the former changing out of her Prada two-piece ensemble and getting into another, model appropriate, two-piece made up of a tight black see-through lace top and matching low-rise skirt, underneath which she wore a silk pink lingerie set.

Jenner finished her look with a pair of strappy black heels and crystal tear-drop earrings, adding both a cat-eye and her brunette eyebrows (which she’d dyed blonde for the red carpet) back.
Kardashian, meanwhile, who was celebrating her Met Gala debut, held hands with her beau Travis Barker, wearing a strapless bodycon LBD with a built-in corset and a pair of black pumps. A special mention to Barker, who always matches his fiance’s style game, and was wearing ruffled sequin black pants with a white-feathered crop top and red belt.
Now for Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber, both of whom opted to go topless for the second half of the night. Bieber wore a crystal-embellished bra underneath a black blazer and tiny tight leather shorts. She topped her look off with red strappy heels, a tight bun and sunglasses.

Never one to shy away from a statement ‘fit, Hadid continued her gothic-glam theme of the night, wearing an open-fronted long-sleeve velvet corset with beaded flower embroidery across her nipples connected to a beaded string in a criss-cross shape across her chest and around her neck. She wore a lace skirt on the bottom, paired with thigh-high sheer black tights and black strappy sandals and pulled her hair back into a high bun. One word, wow:
