On Sunday, singer and American Idol judge Katy Perry gave fans a little peek of her nursery room ahead of the birth of her first child with actor, Orlando Bloom.
As a part of her “Smile Sunday” Instagram Lives, Perry, wearing an oversized polka-dot dress complete with structured sleeves and a pussy bow, confessed she hadn’t shown anyone the baby room before. Surrounded by pink walls and beaming with excitement, the 35-year-old made her way down the hallway, passing two toddler dresses hanging on the wall complete with ballet flats and little booties – a wardrobe tour, we can’t wait for.

The hallway opens up to a vibrant pink room, which some fans noted, is reminiscent of the “I Kissed a Girl” video clip. Perry has kept the room minimal, with a white oval cot by the curtains. A shelf with five baby books runs along the wall and meets what is possible the most comfortable looking nursing chair in the world. Perry finishes off the tour with a shot of the changing alcove, complete with ready-to-use diapers/nappies and perfectly placed storage boxes above the mirror.
Just when the video appeared to be over, Perry surprised followers by asking if fans wanted to see an outfit – or seven. Showing off a number of dresses and onesies, Bloom’s face was the clear winner in that closet. Perry ended the Live perched on the comfy nursing chair having a candid chat with her fans. With her baby due any day now, the singer reminded fans that her second baby (being her 6th studio album) Smile is being released on August 28.
