Congratulations are in order for Katy Perry who is pregnant with her first child to finace Orlando Bloom. The singer revealed the couple’s big news at the end of her new music video for her single ‘Never Worn White,’ cradling her baby bump while wearing a white dress.
“Let’s just say it’s gonna be a jam packed summer,” she wrote alongside the video, before later doing an Instagram Live confirming that she’s due to give birth this upcoming US summer.
“There’s a lot that will be happening this summer,” Perry told fans. “Not only will I be giving birth, literally, but also figuratively, to something you guys have been waiting for,” she continued, referencing her new album.
“It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep,” she continued.. “I had to reveal it at some point,” she said. “It’s getting pretty obvious.” “I’m excited, we’re excited, and happy,” she also added. “I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music.”

Of how she managed to keep her baby bump away from the press for so long, Perry revealed that one of her tricks was to carry a really large, distracting handbag to hold across her stomach. Another? sucking in.
