Jay Z and Kanye West’s once tight personal and professional relationship is more strained than ever.

After Kanye slammed Jay Z and Beyonce on-stage during one of his pre-meltdown concerts, and then Jay Z threw shade at Yeezy in the lyrics of his new album, Kanye is now threatening to leave Jay Z’s streaming platform Tidal, according to TMZ.

It’s understood the Famous rapper alleges Tidal owes him more than US $3 million.

When he threatened to walk from the music service, the company is said to have responded by slapping him with a potential breach of contract lawsuit.

As TMZ claims, Kanye believes he’s owed a bonus for Life Of Pablo, which Jay Z and other Tidal executives deny.

Hov and Yeezy have been close for more than a decade, their friendship culminating in their hit 2011 collaboration album and tour Watch The Throne.

However, things appeared to sour around the time Kanye became involved with Kim Kardashian. A giph reveals the deliciously shady moment Beyonce brushed Kardashian when the rappers won Video Of The Year for Otis at the 2012 BET awards.

Jay and Beyonce didn’t attend Kim’s 2013 baby shower for North (although they did send $10,000 worth of gifts), and the fact that years later North and Blue Ivy had never had a playdate irked Kanye, as he ranted on-stage last year:

Our kids have never even played together.”

Beyonce was also the target of one of Kanye’s monologues:

“Beyoncé, I was hurt, because I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform [at the VMAs] unless you won Video of the Year over me and over Hotline Bling. In my opinion … sometimes, we be playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are, just to win. F*** winning. F*** looking cool. F*** being cool.”

A report from last year claims that when Kim called Beyonce to try and smooth things over between their husbands, Queen Bey wasn’t having a bar of it.

Jay Z shared his take on their feud in the song Kill Jay Z on his new album 4:44, which came out last week:

“I know people backstab you, I feel bad too,” he raps.

“But this f*ck everybody’ attitude ain’t natural/ But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe/ But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye/ You gave him 20 million without blinkin’/ He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f*ck was he thinkin’?/ ‘F*** wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’/ But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane.”

From the looks of this new Tidal tension, Yeezy and Hov’s bromance is over.
