It was Julia Fox’s 32nd birthday over the weekend and to celebrate, the Uncut Gem’s actress took over a restaurant with all of her friends kicking off the kind of party where you could almost feel the ensuing hangover seep through the screen. The night was, of course, meticulously documented on Instagram through the likes of celebrity attendees, such as Tommy Dorfman and Jeremy O. Harris, who showed the birthday girl blowing out candles in the restaurant’s kitchen with a huge crowd surrounding her, including her boyfriend Kanye West.
Somewhere towards the middle of the night, it became apparent Fox had been gifted a Hermès Birkin for her birthday, likely from West—the man gave her an entire hotel room full of clothes on the second date, after all. But it wasn’t just Fox proudly holding up a new designer bag, it was all of her friends, too.
Yes, that’s right: West came in like a Balenciaga-themed Santa Claus and gifted the whole gang.
Furthermore, a souce told People, the rapper had organised the whole event for his new girlfriend. “Kanye wanted to make it special for Julia. He arranged for an extravagant birthday celebration,” they said. “He showered Julia with gifts and even gifted her friends. Everyone had a great time. Kanye was happy. Julia was ecstatic.”
The source added Fox “has been great” for West, explaining, “She is a good focus for him and makes him relax a bit.”
Another source confirmed to E! News that West “not only gave Julia a Birkin, about three of their friends got their own too. They were all really excited but the friends seemed really happy and surprised. [West] is definitely trying to impress her and win over her friends.”
A note to all men, the way to win over your girlfriend’s friends is to most definitely buy them each a baby Birken.
