Kaia Gerber is a super prodigy. Just like her mama, the 18-year-old model is blessed with razor sharp cheekbones, textbook bushy brows, and a smile that could sink a ship. Naturally, she’s been a fixture on almost every Spring/Summer 2020 runway, walking for everyone from Marc Jacobs to Isabel Marant. At Valentino, she looked like she’d shimmied off the dance floor and on to the runway in gold glitter. Even with a broken (liner) wing, the model still looked golden. Like she was ready to party. And party she did, all the way through Valentino, and presumably on to another chic soirée right after. Because Paris Fashion Week, oui?
But that’s not all. While Gerber and others were blessed by makeup director Pat McGrath with the punctured liner, there was also glitter pressed into brows and swept across entire lids. It was a dramatic, Jerry-Hall-meets-David-Bowie display of makeup as art. Paired with fresh with natural but clean skin and brushed brows, it’s something to think about next Saturday night, no?
