The world was shocked, when out of the blue, Hollywood sweethearts Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet announced on social media that they split after 17 years together and just four years of marriage. According to one source for Hollywood Lifethere is a possibility the couple could be getting back together one month after they announced their divorce.

“Jason moved back in with Lisa about two weeks ago and they are very much back together,” the insider who is reportedly a close friend, told the publication. “They decided to work on things rather than throw in the towel because they have so much invested in each other.”

The source added that the couple’s two children – daughter, Lola, 14, and son, Nakoa-Wolf, 13 – were “obviously thrilled” by the news. “Everyone is really hoping that they can make this work this time around.”

The pair haven’t just been split for a mere four weeks however. A retrospect on an old article with Interview Magazine reveals that the split could have occurred way back in November or December.

At the time one insider told E! News that the breakup was due to “different priorities”. “Jason is very focused on his career and wants to work. He has found success and it’s driving him and is very fulfilling. Lisa wants to be in LA and is not interested in going on location for long periods of time with him.”

Could this have all changed?!

On social media, Momoa released a statement explaining that they “free each other” with the split. “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring,” the joint statement read. “And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage.”

“We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty. The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become…”

We of course need to take any “insider” information with a grain of salt but we really do hope this the real deal.
