Mascara is a tricky thing to get right. It’s all about balance; volume, length, curl, longevity, ease of removal, inky depth, gloss, separation… we could go on. That’s why when one formula nails all of the above, it earns iconic status. Diorshow is one such makeup unicorn that’s loved by legions of lash-devotees; its soft, moon-shaped brush encourages curl without clump, while the black formula adds depth and hold.
Some would say it’s impossible to improve on perfection, but the folks at Dior refute this notion, opting to renovate Diorshow Overcurl this year. Now, from 20th August, the mascara will boast an even longer wear (24 hours to be exact) added lash caring benefits and a sleeker, shiny tube. To mark the occasion, Dior Makeup Creative and Image Director Peter Philips shared some how-to’s on personalised mascara application, from bold and fanned out to lash-enhancing liner. Bold, curly lashes

Want larger-than-life lashes? Try a primer underneath (like Dior’s Maximizer 3D) to really add thickness before layering up black mascara on the top and bottom lashes.
Voluminous Lashes

Mascara application might seem like a simple task but really pushing and dragging it through the lashes can make a world of difference, as seen here using Dior Overcurl. If you’re after curl, try a spoon-shaped brush to really push the lashes upwards – when the formula itself sets, it will hold them in place. Don’t forget the bottom too for added eye-opening benefits.
Defined Lash Line

To take lashes to another level, add a thick black kohl along the lash line. Use a built-in smudger, a cotton bud or your finger to really soften the line and take it out past the corner for a winged shape. Et voila! Big, bold eyes!
