Hailey Baldwin Bieber’s YouTube channel is a gift. The model launched the content offering about a month ago, and has since shared her candid thoughts on cancel culture, social media, skincare, styling tips – even a peek into her enviable bathroom interiors (those rose quartz sink handles though).
The latest video is her nighttime skincare routine – a 9-step process that is obviously to credit for her immaculate complexion. There’s a few quirks (pimple patches shouldn’t really go on top of a facial oil, but whatever) and Baldwin Bieber is a little reserved when it comes to specific product recommendations, but we’ve managed to zoom in and identify most of them, and have curated below for your shopping pleasure.

Step One: Oil Cleanser
“I started doing this during quarantine and it made the biggest difference – I don’t take my makeup off any other way,” explains Baldwin Bieber. The idea with oil cleansers is that like attracts like, so it will work to dissolve sunscreen, sebum and oil-based makeup products. It’s hard to make out her oil cleanser of choice, but it kinda’ looks like Shu Uemura.

Step Two: Second Cleanse
Her next step is to do a final cleanse so the skin is properly clean and prepped for serums. Baldwin Bieber prefers a “milkier, hydrating wash”, namely this one from Holifrog.

Step Three: Peptide serum
Post-cleanse, she likes to apply a peptide-absed serum “while the face is still damp”. Peptides are great for skin renewal and repair, and Baldwin Bieber uses this Biba Los Angeles one specifically from her dermatologist. It also contains added antioxidants and hyaluronic acid for hydration and protection.

Step Four: Moisturiser
Baldwin Bieber admits she has “really dry, sensitive skin” so loves a heavy moisturiser. Her product of choice is this barrier repair cream again from her Dermatologist’s office in L.A.

Step Five: Oil
Next up, she likes to press in a light layer of oil to lock in moisture and provide a little extra nourishment. It’s hard to make out the exact oil, but we love this one from Goop.

Step SIx: Prescription Spot Treatment
Baldwin Bieber then goes on with the “teensiest bit” of prescription spot treatment on her chin. Generally speaking, spot treatments should go directly onto clean, dry skin (as opposed to on top of moisturisers and oils, where it’s harder for them to actually penetrate), but given it’s dermatologist prescribed perhaps this order is to mitigate any irritation. And with a face like that, who are we to judge.

Step Seven: Hydrocolloid Sticker
Next up comes Star Face, a US-based brand of star-shaped hydrocolloid stickers proven to calm and heal breakouts. They work by absorbing fluid and protecting a spot, not to mention prevent squeezing and picking. Star Face isn’t available in Australia, but these ZitSticka ones are much the same.
And a hot tip: hydrocolloid should almost always be applied on clean dry skin as well, but given Hailey’s flawless complexion, her system is obviously working (so you do you).

Step Eight: Eye Cream
Baldwin Bieber’s penultimate step is eye cream. Normally, it makes sense to apply eye cream before serums so they can absorb, but again, there’s no hard and fast rules when it comes to skincare. We think she’s using BareMinerals Herb Eye Treatment (but don’t quote us).

Step Nine: Lip Balm
Finally, Baldwin Bieber slathers on her lip balm of choice – Aquaphor. It’s essentially a barrier ointment (like Vaseline) so will prevent trans-epidermal water loss. If your lips are super cracked, add a nourishing, lanolin-based balm underneath.
