Hailey Bieber’s lockdown hobby—making at-home YouTube videos—has turned into a successful business venture, earning the model over 1.2 million subscribers to date and both Silver and Gold Creator Awards from the video platform in May, just two months after launch.

Not only does Bieber give her fans an inside look into her cooking habits through videos with the likes of Addison Rae and Kendall Jenner, but she also gives away tips and tricks for makeup, skincare and hair. Given celebrities often deflect from their actual routines, Bieber’s openness and honesty—she recently revealed she’s taking prescription retinoids for her skin—have earned her praise from the YouTube community.

In her latest video, Bieber finally gave the people what they’d been asking for: a tutorial on how exactly to get her signature messy wavy locks.

The model released a YouTube clip talking through her hair-styling process, from blow-drying her wet hair (after applying her go-to OUI texturising spray) to weaving a flat iron through her hair to create her signature waves, using one affordable Amazon product.

Before she starts using her hot hair tool, Bieber sprays her entire head with texturising spray. Namely, IGK Beach Club Volumising Texture Spray. Bieber says the affordable product gives her naturally “sleek, silky” hair more grip, helping to hold her waves in place, simultaneously making her hair look thicker and more voluminous.

Bieber begins by spraying the product through her full head of hair, before pulling back sections and adding further sprays before she runs the iron through each chunk. Once she’s done waving her hair, she sprays the product on her hair one more time to “roughen it up” and ensure the style holds.

The wavy style is Bieber’s “go-to” when she does her own hair. “Going out for a dinner or going out for date night, this is typically the hair I’m going to do,” she explains to the camera. Later, when noting the sections don’t need to be perfect, Bieber says, “My vibe right now, especially with my hair, is I’ve been doing a lot of this messy, undone look. To me, it’s fine if it’s not perfect glossy waves.”

There you go: supermodel locks with a product available from Amazon. Thank you, Hailey Bieber.
