You know what they say: after the party comes the after party… and at the after party come the models. Such was the case at the Golden Globes yesterday anyway, when Hailey Bieber turned up at the Instyle soiree wearing a teeny tiny YSL sequinned blazer mini, perfect choppy blonde waves and wonderfully dewy, luminous skin.
Makeup artist Denika Bedrossian (known as Dendoll) was the artist behind the masterpiece, using Bare Minerals products exclusively given that Bieber is the face of the brand. She kindly broke down all steps so that the rest of us can emulate the sexy, fresh makeup mood. See below.
Skin was prepped early on with a layer of the ultra-hydrating Bare Minerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion Serum, before Bedrossian primed with Prime Time Original Foundation Primer. Next up came Bieber’s base. The brief was natural skin, so Bedrossian used the Hydrating Foundation Stick as concealer, using her fingers to blend around the nose and eyes. The perfect way to clean up skin without an all-over base, using a pigmented stick only where needed is one tip worth saving for later.
Bieber’s eyes were defined using the Gen Nude Eye Palette in Latte, while a clear gloss was added on top for extra shine. Lastly, lips were painted with a soft berry stain (Mineralist Hydra-Smoothing Lipstick, launching soon), and buffed in for a diffused shape with no harsh lines.
The resulting look was glowy, sheeny perfection.
