Hailey Bieber is a big fan of abbreviated hemlines and getting her pins out (and quite frankly, with legs like that, why not). She’s also a big believer in boots – and not just boots to keep your feet snug in winter – but boots all-year round. Particularly boots with the aforementioned abbreviated hems (read: micro minis).
For obvious reasons, though, boots have always fallen in the ‘winter’ category of seasonal dressing. Of course, the thought of a cold, blistering winter without your feet strapped in a pair of booties is unfathomable – ghastly, in fact. But in recent times, the boot has proven more than just a means to keep your feet warm. It now stands as one of the most trans-seasonal pieces in fashion, as powerful in spring and summer as it is in the cooler months. Case in point: Bieber and friends, who push the boot + mini equation on the daily (who can forget Kendall Jenner leaving New York Fashion Week – at the tail end of Summer – in a pair of Jacquemus’ black Les Bottes Pantalon with a sheer micro mini shirt dress of the same colour?). Bieber also wore the same near-knee-high boot in white with an oversized t-shirt and long-line leather jacket (and apparently no pants). Two sunny locales, two very stylish instances of the boot.
And again, Hailey Bieber stormed the sunny streets of LA in a pair of pale lemon square-toe boots from By Far (a brand she and Jenner back wholeheartedly). She wore the retro-inspired Linda Boots (a new style for the accessories label) with a matching micro bag of the same shade, Jacquemus’s La Veste Sauge in a dusty sage green and a pair of denim Daisy Dukes so small, well, just very small.
A teeny tiny knitted bra completed the look (a standout trend for spring) and a mask….and bingo! Another dose of bootscootin’ blazer lovin’ from Hailey Bieber.
