Hailey Bieber looked truly breathtaking last night at the Met Gala. Dressed in white silky Saint Laurent, the model channelled Jerry Hall circa 2002 when she walked the YSL spring/summer runway in a similar look.
Whether or not it was on theme — In America: An Anthology of Fashion — she looked insanely good, both in regards to her couture gown, and her makeup.
Bieber, who has been making a point recently to show us just how radiant her skin is, opted out of gala glamour and instead word an ethereal, barely-there makeup look put together by Nina Park. Park, who is a Chanel makeup artist, buffed and blended a cocktail of Chanel formulas into Bieber’s skin, leaving it dewy, glistening and unbelievably fresh.

One detail we’re fixated on is the cheek colour. Whisper soft, it’s a beautifully rosy pinkish tint that’s healthy but believable — not to mention has a super-luminous finish. To achieve the results, Park actually layered three differing formulas: N°1 DE CHANEL Lip and Cheek Balm in Wake Up Pink, N°1 DE CHANEL Lip and Cheek Balm in Lively Rosewood, and JOUES CONTRASTE Powder Blush in Quintessence. The Lip and Cheek Balm specifically is a newer launch and part of the N°1 DE CHANEL, promising a creamy finish and skincare-like benefits. The JOUES CONTRASTE Powder blush on the other hand is a classic pressed powder formula, with a silky texture that sits comfortably on the skin.
Overall the look is perfect, from the plump nudey-pink lip to the glassy eyelids. And while we’re here for the Chanel look, you cannot deny it’s also a stellar advertisement for Bieber’s upcoming skincare line, Rhode.
