As we come to concede that winter is indeed upon us, there’s still plenty to get excited about. After all, a new season can call for new wardrobe additions, an updated beauty routine, and even exploring your horizons with places and events you haven’t been to before. At GRAZIA, we’re quite committed to trying out new things and putting our (very zealous) shopping habits to good use by sharing our special finds.
From the bag that’s made for picnics and the sunglasses that promise endless compliments to the pasta that has plagued the mind of one editor, we’re divulging the bits and bobs that have earned our tick of approval.
Ahead, everything the GRAZIA team recommend getting on board with this month.
Lola’s Italian & Bar
“Anyone who knows me knows that I’m obsessed with pasta. And bread. And fries. So when I found out about Lola’s Italian & Bar, I was surprised to be out of the loop. A seaside joint that sits along the iconic Campbell Parade in Bondi Beach, Lola’s has been transformed into a bustling soft-lit eatery with an incredible ambience and an even better menu. Head Chef Toby Stansfield (formerly Fabricca and The Old Fitz) has curated a refined menu of Italian classics, all generous in flavour and perfect for sharing. Think burrata housed in radicchio and tangy agrodolce, saffron arancini, semolina spaghetti with vongole and ‘nduja and fries loaded with herbs. I recently devoured the broccoli orecchiette and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. A refined offering of unique cocktails and a top-notch wine list make it an absolute must-visit for any carb enthusiast. Lola’s Italian & Bar is open seven days a week until late, so I recommend finding a spot to dine there ASAP!” — Pema Bakshi, Fashion Features Editor

Chanel Les Beiges Blush
“Chanel’s new water-fresh blush is a product I’ve been eyeing since its launch. Available in four shades, the ultralight formulation feels like skincare yet injects the complexion with a boost of radiance to deliver a lit-from-within warmth to the face. As someone who is slowly trying to convert my makeup routine to be an extension of my skincare, this product is a soon-to-be staple.” — Ava Gilchrist, Senior Fashion Writer
Saint Laurent ICARE Maxi Shopping Bag
“When I say this bag is everywhere, it’s a serious understatement. YSL’s ICARE bag has been seen on every fashion muse, from Hailey Bieber and Zoë Kravitz to Sydney Sweeney and Rosé. But now—drumroll, please—the French House has released an update: a quilted nubuck suede version with an oversized Cassandre YSL embellishment, adjustable inner chain, and removable suede pouch. A stunningly classic investment you’ll have for your entire life.” — Jessica Bailey, Editorial Director
Miu Miu Brushed Leather Loafers
“No hate to boots, but I do sometimes crave an enclosed winter shoe that I can get plenty of daytime mileage out of that can still be dressed up for the evening. Enter: these Miu Miu loafers. Not only are they comfortable and versatile enough for whatever outfit my mood produces, but the sheen on the smooth leather and penny detailing—which I’ve learned is a trend adopted from rebellious school kids in the ’50s—gives it a special oomph.” — Pema Bakshi, Fashion Features Editor
Petite Grand Velvet Choker
“My jewellery arsenal consists of two statement pendent necklaces from New York designer Susan Alexander, so when I saw this equally standout piece from Petite Grand, I knew I had to have it. The hanging pink heart is made from handblown glass, slightly softening the choker, and hangs on a delicate piece of velvet. With the addition of pearls at the end of the ribbon, this piece is ultra-romantic and the perfect accessory.” — Ava Gilchrist, Senior Fashion Writer
GANNI Denim Midi Skirt
“I’ve been wearing my dark-wash denim midi skirt to death, and so when I spotted this white iteration by GANNI, it went straight to the top of my wishlist. I can see this easily slotting into my wardrobe, and I reckon it will pair just as nicely with a T-shirt and sneakers as it will with a sweater and heeled boots. The best part? The skirt is made from organic cotton that’s grown without the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, so it’s a little kinder to people and the planet. Good for me.” — Pema Bakshi, Fashion Features Editor
Luv Lou ‘Gigi’ Sunglasses
“I have never got more comments on my sunglasses, from both females and males, than I have from my Luv Lou X Renee Bargh Goldie frames. Excitingly, the brand released a shiny new line, Eclipse, on July 12, so I’m mixing up my shady game with a squarer frame: the new Gigi’s in Black. Sleek, classic and giving Sofia Richie vibes, all of Luv Lou’s glasses use sustainable materials and are a well-priced frame for the everyday. Take a look as The Carmel (also in the Eclipse line)—it’s a brand-new shape for the Australian label and brainchild of sister duo Hayley and Jayde Hall. I’ll let you know if, or should I say when, the comments continue!” — Jessica Bailey, Editorial Director
Duck Ragu Stained Glass Mirror
“Dressing bare walls is no easy feat, but these hand-made stained-glasses mirrors by Melbourne artist Poppy Templeton (aka Duck Ragu) serve a function as well as simply being ridiculously cute. Injecting a retro flair into any room, without running into dated territory, these bespoke pieces make for a very easy add-to-cart.” — Pema Bakshi, Fashion Features Editor.
Souleil ‘Le Rouge’ 2021
“I just returned home from the south of France: cerulean waters, pebbled beaches, colourful umbrellas. The experience was never without a glass of French wine—and in an effort to continue that “I’m-on-vacation-in-Europe” mindset, I’ve begun exploring a few different French wines to enjoy in the evenings in Australia. This Grenache (GSM blend) from southern France-based brand Souleil, “Le Rouge”, hits the spot with raspberry, red flowers and macerated strawberries coming together with a dash of spice. Medium-bodied and dry, the brand’s whole ethos is to create a wine that feels like an endless summer. Ah, I wish I was still there.” — Jessica Bailey, Editorial Director
A Winter Residence
“We may be more inclined to stay in during the colder evenings, but might I recommend booking in a little treat to combat the winter blues? Cult-favourite massage studio The CALMM has teamed up with the interior gods at Jardan to bring ‘A Winter Residence’ to Paramount House Hotel. From July 14 – August 31, CALMM will be offering special treatments for hotel guests and the general public in a beautifully appointed interior curated by Jardan. Heaven. But the best part is that to celebrate the temporary residence, PHH has also taken 20% off rooms between 14 July and 31 August, so you know where you’ll find me.” — Pema Bakshi, Fashion Features Editor
Tanchen Studio Wine Carrier
“More so than ever, I’ve turned my attention to artisanal-focused pieces that elevate the everyday. This woven cord wine carrier from Tenchen is the consummate embodiment of that. The tote is made from cork and woven cord that is netted to hold an array of objects, but I primarily use it to elevate my runs to the bottle shops or visits to restaurants or friends’ houses where BYO pét nat is a must.” — Ava Gilchrist, Senior Fashion Writer
JIU JIE Crush Cushion
“I struggle with balancing my desire for a neutral space with my need for some fun and colour. This pretzel-like cushion by JIU JIE has been on my radar for some time now, but after picturing how this ’70s-style green could lift my beige sofa, I’m completely sold.” — Pema Bakshi, Fashion Features Editor
TEKLA Cotton-Terry Bathrobe
“The hunt for the perfect robe may just be over with this pick from Copenhagen-based TEKLA. Warm but not overwhelming, snug but not suffocating, colourful but not kitschy, it ticks every box. I’ve had a Goldilocks experience with robes lately, and this one seems to be juuuussst right.” — Pema Bakshi, Fashion Features Editor
Fendi C’Mon Bag
“Trust FENDI to create the perfect day-to-day crossbody bag. I love that it can elevate a really simple look but isn’t too flashy.” — Pema Bakshi, Fashion Features Editor
