It might sound counterintuitive, but my oily skin loves this gel-to-oil cleanser. My combination, acne-prone complexion needs a lightweight, gel formulation to avoid that heavy, sticky feeling that often comes with oil-based skincare, but I crave that nourishing, silky texture – particularly when my skin is super dry in the middle of winter. Chanel’s Sublimage Gel-to-Oil Cleanser, as the name suggests, is able to marry the two emulsions in a single product. Like many brands, Italian fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo has lent a luxury twist to the humble trainer. Its latest iteration – the Brooklyn lace up sneaker – is reimagined into ‘his n hers’ colourways. Moulded from smoot calf leather, the upper is emblazoned with a side Gancini and suede detailing on the heel and the toe.
