Gal Gadot has stepped out in a red hot Saint Laurent suit and we’re getting serious superhero vibes. The Wonder Woman 1984 star donned the eye-catching two piece for an appearance on Good Morning America to promote the new film.

She paired the Saint Laurent number with a cream shirt with wide lapels, minimal gold jewellery and slicked-back locks. The tailored set had a retro feel, with a subtle flare to the pants and folded-back cuffs. A matching red lip and patent pointed heels rounded out the look, which feels equal parts festive and a nod to her infamous character.

Gadot’s stylist Elizabeth Stewart posted the look to her Instagram page. “In honor of the @ysl show today!” she wrote, before congratulating designer Anthony Vaccarello on the show, which just took place in Paris. With the runway providing a sartorial smorgasbord of high-octane glamour and nostalgic fashion fare, we’re hoping to see more of Gadot in Saint Laurent while on the promotion trail.

After all, it’s not the first time she’s dressed her client in the French fashion brand – the actress also wore a plunging Saint Laurent gown to an Oscars after-party earlier this year. It’s a fitting collaboration, considering the synchronicity between the house’s notoriously masculine-feminine codes and Gadot’s female superhero character.

The film itself is set to be as intriguing to fashion lovers as it will be for diehard fans of the DC universe. While Wonder Woman’s alter ego Diana Prince wears only one piece of jewellery throughout the film, it’s a $27,300 Elsa Peretti Bone Cuff from Tiffany & Co.

Wonder Woman 1984 is set to be released in theatres on December 26. Meanwhile we’ll be fawning over Gadot’s red carpet turns in the meantime.
