Yesterday, the 75th Oscars closed out award’s season in spectacular fashion. From the gowns to the beauty looks to the incredible calibre of talent, it was a feast for all senses.

One of the brightest lights was, as always, our very own Margot Robbie (who unexpectedly turned up to present with Morgan Freeman). The Babylon star is always a fixture on the red carpet, both for her acting and films produced under her production company, LuckyChap entertainment.
Last night, she wore a black off-shoulder Armani Privé column gown, as well as a complimentary makeup look by long-time makeup artist Pati Dubroff for CHANEL.
“My inspiration was sun kissed skin with a sexy spider lash,” Dubroff shared exclusively.
To achieve such a look, Dubroff prepped Robbie’s skin with CHANEL N°1 de CHANEL Revitalizing Essence Lotion and Revitalizing Serum, and finished with the Rich Revitalizing Cream on the outer portion of the face. As for complexion, Dubroff used the N°1 de CHANEL Revitalizing Foundation in B40 and BD51, the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream in Soleil Tan Medium Bronze, and Lip and Cheek Balm in Vital Beige.
The spidery lash was actually created using two different mascara formulas: Noir Allure Mascara in Noir and Inimitable Mascara in Noir Black. Dubroff finished the shape with the Calligraphie de CHANEL Longwear Intense Cream Eyeliner in Hyperblack, dark charcoal shadow and a creamy liner. The perfect nude lip came courtesy of Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in Intemporelle and Le Crayon Lèvres Longwear Lip Pencil in Beige Naturel.
Glamorous but still soft enough to allow Robbie’s natural beauty to shine through, it was perfect (also, made a case for multiple mascara formulations in order to achieve a dimensional lash look).
