Summer waits for no women, whether she’s ready for swimsuit season or not. If you’re looking for a little extra kick in the workout motivation stakes as we head into the social season, nothing works better than some sleek new fashion kit.

Just ask fitness influencer and mother-of-two Emma Seibold, who runs a fitness studio empire with her husband while juggling an online exercise business, filming videos for online publications and guest performing at wellbeing conferences like Wanderlust.

The right outfit, says Seibold – who owns Barre Body studios across Australia plus her new-concept ‘mindful workout’ space Bende Byron Bay and whose studios are a go-to for celebrities like Jess and Ashley Hart when they’re in town – can make all the difference.

GRAZIA asked the Melbourne-born wellness coach and instructor-turned-entrepreneur to share three favourite new-season looks to suit her trio of signature workouts.

FOR BARRE …

“Barre is hard work, so my outfits need to work hard too,” Emma told GRAZIA. “Hold me in, support me in our range of movements, and of course, look good. I can’t go past First Base for fab leggings – in chic black because it never dates – paired with a simple muscle tank and a great bra underneath that I don’t mind peeking through.”

FOR YOGA…

“I am in love with Arcaa Movement, particularly their brand new range in soft pinks – hello, Spring!” says Seibold. “I like doing yoga in a crop top so I don’t have a tee falling over my head in downward dog, but the sweater is perfect for cuddling up in savasana.”

FOR REFORMER PILATES…

“Reformer is really having a moment – thanks Meghan Markle – and at our studio Bende in Byron Bay, the outfits that show up on those beds are covetable, so I bring my A-Game,” says Seibold. “These Koral leggings look equally chic after class, with a geometric bra and a gorgeous sweater – but you can guarantee that won’t stay on for long once I start moving on those machines.”
