A few weeks ago, TikTok girlies all over the world — especially queer ones — went wild when newly single Emily Ratajkowski appeared to come out as bisexual on the app.

Participating in a trend that asked “If you identify as bisexual, do you own a green velvet couch?” the model swivelled the camera around to show herself sitting on a huge green velvet couch that wrapped around her living room.

Now, in a new interview, Ratajkowski says she doesn’t really “believe in straight people,” telling Harper’s BAZAAR she thinks “sexuality is on a sliding scale.”

Addressing her viral TikTok video, the 31-year-old said, “My girlfriend came over and was like, ‘Bitch, have you seen the green-couch thing?’ She was laughing at me because my green couch is so big.”

Adding of her recent candid posts on social media, Ratajkowski said, “I want to be able to have fun with how I present myself in the world without feeling like I’m a bad feminist or a good feminist. Duh. I don’t want to be a part of your club if you don’t want to have me. It’s fine!”

Elsewhere in the piece, Ratajkowski, whose first episode of her podcast High Low was released today, spoke of her divorce from her husband of three years, Sebastian Bear-McClard, saying she still feels anger towards her ex-husband, who is widely rumoured to have cheated on her during their marriage.

“I feel anger, sadness. I feel excitement. I feel joy. I feel levity. Every day is different,” she said. “The only good thing I know is that I’m feeling all those things, which is nice because it makes me believe that I’ll be OK.”

Ratajkowski, who shares a one-year-old son, Sly, with Bear-McClard, was linked to Brad Pitt following their split, but most recently was seen making out with DJ Orazio Rispo on the streets of New York City last month. We love to see it.
