With COVID restrictions all over the world since March, filming in Hollywood and beyond has been halted for upcoming movies and TV shows for months. But, thankfully, we’re slowly starting to see things slowly pick back up and film companies are pulling out all the stops – and all the biggest names – to ensure we’re invested.

After everyone’s favourite charming musician, Harry Styles, was confirmed in not one, but two upcoming films last month, now we have every millennial woman’s dreamboat, Leonardo DiCaprio, starring alongside Gen Z honey, Timothée Chalamet, in the newly announced production, Don’t Look Up.

But that’s not all: The movie also stars pretty much every big name there is. Jennifer Lawrence! Meryl Streep! Cate Blanchett! Ariana Grande! As well as Matthew Perry, Kid Cudi, Jonah Hill, Himesh Patel, Tomer Sisley, and Rob Morgan, making it one of the most star-studded castings since Ocean’s Eight.

Though we don’t know too much about the film as of yet, Deadline reports that it will follow “two low-level astronomers [likely Lawrence and DiCaprio] who embark on a media tour to warn mankind of an approaching asteroid that will destroy Earth.”

Don’t Look Up will be written and directed by Adam McKay, who’s responsible for movies such as ViceThe Big ShortAnchorman, and Step Brothers. The movie also marks the first time DiCaprio has starred in a movie produced by Netflix and the first time Oscar-winners Lawrence and DiCpario have worked together.

Next I would like to see Harry Styles, Timothée Chalamet, Cillian Murphy and Issa Rae in a rom-com, please.
