Living life in the spotlight has its upsides and downsides. The positive parts include fame, money, status and living a life of luxury, but the negative is that sometimes it’s hard to find someone who truly loves you for you… and not for everything else I just listed. Oh, another negative? If you happen to accidentally share a dick pic to your Instagram stories, it’s staying on the internet forever.
Chris Evans is a man who knows both of these things well. In fact, despite women of the world getting a preview of his package (sorry), he’s still looking for love.
In a video interview with Shondaland this week, the Captain America actor was asked what he is “laser-focused” on in life right now – the ‘laser’ part in reference to his latest role as Buzz Lightyear in Disney’s new film Lightyear. Evans was surprisingly candid with his response, saying, “Maybe [I’m] laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with.”
“I mean, look, I love what I do. It’s great. I pour all of myself into it,” he continued. “But…even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into. Maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with.”
Lizzo, who famously slid into Evans’ DMs last year, is sadly now off the market. But despite Evans missing out on one of the most iconic women in music (big mistake, huge), his relationship history is almost exclusively made up of other famous women. This includes Jessica Biel, Christina Ricci, Minka Kelly, Jenny Slate and (maybe) Lily James, who he was photographed with multiple times last year, though neither party confirmed a romance.
