As images from the set of the Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That emerge, it appears that Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda’s style habits haven’t changed. Fifteen years on, the one thing that has changed, however, is Charlotte’s two daughters, Lily and Rose Goldenblatt. Further snaps from production have revealed the girls are all grown up and of course, very stylish.
The crew were spotted filming outside the Manhattan School for Music on New York’s Upper West Side. All three ladies wore different iterations of a cream, floral dress – and Charlotte’s husband Harry (played by Evan Handler) was spotted as well.

Nearby Cynthia Nixon’s character, Miranda, was with David Eigenberg who plays Miranda’s husband Steve and their (grown-up) on-screen son, Brady.

As for Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie, her own husband is still notably absent from the And Just Like That set. Chris Noth is set to reprise his role of Mr. Big. But a leaked page from the official script does suggest that the fictional couple’s marriage is on shaky ground.
“I was taping the podcast, I was washing my hair. Yes, I wasn’t eating or sleeping, but at least I felt good about my marriage. Now I’m just one of the wives he was taking care of?,” a line from Bradshaw’s script reportedly reads.

Carrie’s former love interest Aidan Shaw (played by John Corbett) is yet to be seen on the set either. In April the actor revealed he was “very excited” to reprise his role and that he would be in “quite a few” episodes. Here’s hoping!

And Just Like That is expected to release onto HBO Max in late 2021. According to the official synopsis, “The new Max Original series is based on the book, Sex and the City, by Candice Bushnell and the original TV series created by Darren Star. The series will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.”
More to come.
