If you’re curious about the status of a Hollywood or music celebrity’s relationship this week, it appears the answer lies on Instagram. Specifically, the Instagram grids of the women they are – were? – publicly dating up until this point.
First, break up rumours circulated about Michael B. Jordan and his girlfriend of a year, Lori Harvey, via a source who spoke to People. Despite not directly addressing the rumours with words, Harvey’s actions spoke volumes: a few hours later, she deleted every trace of her actor ex from her ‘gram. Sob.
Now, it appears Kanye West’s three-month relationship with Chaney Jones might have taken a similar turn.
Prior to Tuesday, Page Six reports Jones had numerous photos of her and West’s whirlwind romance on her Instagram grid, but they have since been deleted — or archived — after reports the rapper has moved on with model Monica Corgan, whom he was reportedly spotted with on a date to the movies to see Top Gun: Maverick.
As for Jones and West, who were so serious he gave her a $275,000 Birken and she got ‘Ye’ tattooed on her arm, a source told Page Six, the pair’s relationship became “choppy” after their trip to Tokyo in May, but added it’s hard to know what West is thinking when it comes to his personal life: “You know how things are. Tomorrow they might be posted together again.”
I don’t know about you, but I miss the Julia Fox days. Things were simple and perfectly chaotic then.
