CHANEL Beauty has always embraced colour, but the exclusive Spring-Summer 2023 makeup collection (which is on counter from today) pays homage to one shade in particular: red.
Charged with warmth, energy and timeless sensuality, the product lineup consists of exclusive shades in Les 4 Rouges Yeux Et Joues, Baume Esentiel in Rouge Frais, Le Liner de Chanel in Rouge Noir, Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Or Rose, Le Vernis in Watermelon & Rose Cuir and Noir Allure Mascara in Rouge Grenat. There’s also four new hues being added into the Rouge Allure Velvet franchise: a soft beige, desaturated orange, deep brick and bold, slightly-burnt true red.

Founder Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel was always a firm believer in the gravitas that comes with makeup, especially in a powerful hue such as red. The trailblazer actually created her first ever lipstick for the house in 1924 – an enduring symbol that’s become synonymous with CHANEL.
The new collection can be used all together for a striking look, or individually to enhance certain features. Our pick? A swipe of Baume Esentiel Rouge Frais on blushed cheeks for extra sheen, or a final coat of Noir Allure Rouge Grenat to dress the eyes (enhancing your natural iris colouring in the process).
The CHANEL Spring-Summer 2023 makeup collection is available in boutiques, on counter in David Jones and Myer, as well as online from today for a period of eight weeks. From the glossed packaging to the richly-pigmented product inside, this is a seasonal drop that’s not to be missed.
