There must be something in the water in Auckland. The New Zealand city is proving a fertile breeding ground of creativity, cultivating some of the finest young designers in the world right now. One of those designers is Paris Georgia, a two-(wo)man band – Georgia Cherrie and Paris Mitchell Temple – who began with just six basics in back in 2015, the humble slip dress originally the backbone of their business. Fast forward to today, and their ascent has been somewhat phenomenal – as too their product range.

Evolving into a diverse brand comprising boxy blazers, fluted maxi skirts, blouson shirting, modern corsetry and frou-frou mini dresses (plus of course iterations of the slip), Paris Georgia now dresses some of the world’s most powerful and equally glamorous women. There’s been repeat PG offender Kendall Jenner, who has worn the Sebastian Blazer and Beret (a GRAZIA fave), the Heart Singlet and Ruffled Bodice.

Sister Kourtney Kardashian is also a fan, wearing the Nina Bralette on a family vacation to Italy last year. Ciara went all white in the brand’s Valentina Trench, while both Kate Hudson and Rosie Huntington-Whitely came down with a case of the Paris Georgia blues, wearing the Charlotte Top and Isla Skirt respectively. Then there’s model and fellow Kiwi, Georgia Fowler, who has worn everything from the Phoebe Slip to the Ariel Top, and Charlee Fraser who was a vision in the Max Dress.

And overnight, former Victoria’s Secret angel, Candice Swanepoel, wore the brand’s Heart Dress to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, notching another celebrity to its already burgeoning list. The dress, which has also been seen on Lorde late last year, is a modern take on corsetry with its sculpted sweetheart neckline, sporty stretch fabric and white piping, it proves not only spectacularly flattering but sexy all the same.
