It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz-Beckham’s wedding, mainly due to the fact that despite 365 days going by the extravagant Miami nuptials are still making headlines. At first, there were reports of a feud between the newlyweds and the groom’s British family, namely between his mother, Victoria Beckham, and the bride, before a court case between wedding planners who were hired, then fired, revealed terse text exchanges between the event planners and the bride and groom and guest list mishaps.
But in proving that at least any drama between the Beckhams and the Peltz-Beckhams’ is now resolved is the fact the couple chose to spend their one-year celebrations with the Beckham family.
Posting on Instagram, Victoria Beckham shared a photo of herself and her husband David posing with their eldest son and his wife, writing, “So special to be together to celebrate your 1st wedding anniversary 💕 we love you.” The photo showed Brooklyn holding a tiered cake decorated with polaroids of the couple and Nicola wearing a pair of brightly coloured shorts with a cropped black tee and knee-high black boots.
Brooklyn then posted his own tribute to his wife, sharing a blurry photo of them kissing in an airport with the caption, “1 year ago today I married my best friend xx I am the luckiest person to be able to call you my wife x you are my everything and I am the luckiest person on this earth to be able to wake up next to your gorgeous face every morning.”
“Here’s to many more years baby xx,” he continued. “I love you so so so much x here’s to having as much fun when we are old as we are now young ❤️❤️”
Nicola opted to share a photo series from that day, which coincided with Easter Sunday, writing, “I can’t believe it’s been a year since I walked down the aisle 🥹 I love you so much baby. I love being your wife. I couldn’t imagine my life without you 💘 you are everything I’ve ever dreamt of and I’m so happy I get my life with you.”
She added, “Today was so amazing celebrating with our families! I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter! (I also surprised my naunni with a rescue puppy 😭😭 and she was so happy!) 🥰🐣💘🫶🏻✨💖”
David, meanwhile, shared an Instagram story showing Brooklyn and Nicola posing outside at sunset taking photos together, writing, “Happy one year you two.”
