It’s here. Brad and Jen back together whispering sweet nothings to each other over Zoom for the whole world to see. Now, that’s romance. It was the reunion to end all reunions, and it was better than we ever could have imagined: our favourite ex-Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reuniting for a live charity table reading of the ’80s classic Fast Times at Ridgemont High. And it was all kinds of perfect.
The former couple joined a star-studded line-up – including Julia Roberts, Morgan Freeman, Matthew McConaughey, Shia LaBeouf, Sean Penn, Jimmy Kimmel, John Legend and Ray Liotta – but it was (obvs) the old lovebirds that stole the show.
“Hi Brad, you know how cute I always thought you were,” Aniston reads, Pitt looking down bashfully, giggling, then looking up at the camera coyly. “I think you’re so sexy. Will you come to me?”
The scene continues with Morgan Freeman narrating the stage directions (like Jennifer Aniston’s character Linda Barrett pulling him in for a kiss and unbuttoning her bikini top), which leaves fellow celeb readers Sean Penn, Matthew McConaughey and a giggling Julia Roberts gushing (like every single one of us at home).
You can watch / melt at the video below. All we can say is thank you Brad and Jen, thank you. Now can you just get back together already?
