Now that the paparazzi has finally figured out who Brad Pitt is actually dating – not his artist friend Alia Shawkat (we can but dream), rather German model Nicole Poturalski, the rumours have been non-stop.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a good tabloid story without finding some way to pit women against each other, which is exactly what a few outlets did recently regarding Pitt’s ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.
On Pitt and Jolie’s former wedding anniversary, Us Weekly claimed that Pitt took Poturalski to his and Jolie’s wedding venue (which would be an outrageous thing to do), writing, “Brad knows exactly what he is doing and the reaction it’s going to get from Angelina.” The Mirror, clearly on direct dial with Jolie, added that the actress was “furious and utterly stunned Brad could stoop this low.”
Despite Poturalski never confirming that the boyfriend she’s alluded to having on her Instagram account is in fact Pitt, she did seemingly respond to these feud rumours in her most recent post. After sharing photos of herself wearing an orange dress and sunglasses with the caption, “Happy people don’t hate” – something very typical on her account, a Jolie fan commented, “If so, then why [do] you & Brad hate Angelina. Practice what you preach girl.”
Instead of ignoring the message, as she has done to the hundreds that’ve poured in since she was photographed on holiday with Pitt earlier this month, Poturalski gave it a short response: “Not hating [on] anyone.” She also replied to a fan who wrote, “Louder for the people in the back …” writing, “WE LOVE. WE SUPPORT. WE SMILE. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL. BIGGEST KISS.”
Life sure is beautiful if you’re dating Brad Pitt.
