Under the helm of Daniel Lee, Bottega Veneta’s rebrand has been nothing short of Herculean. The storied Italian House has gripped the fashion world like no other, sending those with even a remote fashion bent into a frenzy. And to add even more might to their sartorial jurisdiction; an exclusive collection with retail Gods, Matches Fashion.

Available both online and at their bricks and mortar extension at 5 Carlos Place in London, the exclusive pieces from their men’s and women’s Autumn Winter 19 collection feature a range of handbags, ready-to-wear and of course, a shoe in bespoke colours. There’s two styles of handbag, an Intrecciato Nappa Rectangular Clutch and a Spazzolato Calf Cross-Body Bag, both in a creamy Plaster colour. A wool knit dress with puffy sleeves presents in the same Plaster shade, as too the quilted Bloc Pump – a hero of the exisiting collection – which now features a gold cap at the toe and was inspired by the interiors of luxury cars of the 1970s. The satin coat, with that signature Lee quilting, and cashmere skirt with geometrical gold hardware, appear in Chocolate for the first time (their sibling pieces currently exist in black only).

Of the collection, which is a celebration of freedom, sensuality and self-expression, Lee notes: “The Fall 2019 collection is a statement of new intentions, a new point of view, it’s about building a wardrobe with great pieces to wear. I wanted a mix of contemporary and classic, new technologies with a new immediacy, clothes that could be as refined as they were elegant.”

The exclusive project celebrates Lee’s first runway for Bottega Veneta, with a dedicated installation at 5 Carlos Place whereby customers can experience Lee’s sublime new vision first-hand. The installation will be open to the public from Tuesday 27th August until Wednesday 11th September, while Bottega tragics outside of London can shop the limited-edition range via MatchesFashion.com.
