The New York premiere of Ryan Reynolds’ latest film, Deadpool & Wolverine, turned out to be a sweet family night out for the Manhattanite couple. Not only was he accompanied by his real-life “Lady Deadpool” Blake Lively, who attended the premiere in a custom crimson Atelier Versace catsuit similar to the costume he dons in the Marvel blockbuster. But he also reserved the moment to acknowledge his young family who were in the audience.
In a speech before the film, Reynolds finally shared the name of his and Lively’s fourth child, who was welcomed into the world over the 57th Super Bowl weekend in February 2023. (Yes, their youngest was alive to witness Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce lead the Kansas City Chiefs to their second NFL victory.)
Reynolds revealed that he and Lively’s one-year-old was named Olin, a male name of Nordic origins that means “to inherit.” Olin joins their three daughters, James, 9, Inez, 7 and Betty, 4. Neither actor has confirmed the gender of the baby, and given their oldest child sports a unisex moniker, it’s apparent the couple aren’t fussed by tradition.

Reynolds began his speech by thanking his wife—”Her outfit is amazing, spoiler alert”—before offering a touching tribute to his little ones. “I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here: I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing—that is, the contents of this movie—that happens in your wondrous life.”
While Olin’s siblings’ monikers might’ve been announced in Taylor Swift songs, the youngest got its name in lights. The MCU alumni previously joked about his children’s connection to the songstress, joking on a morning news show that they “always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name will be”. “We’ll say this. We’re still waiting, so Taylor, let’s maybe start,” he added. Time to refresh her entire discography and hunt down clues for their name!
