This morning I was informed that my straight white male housemate stayed up until 4am the previous evening to watch all ten episodes of the new Emily in Paris“Ooh can I tell you what happened?”, he asked me excitedly. For the one percent of the population that did not watch the entire season in one sitting I was both disappointed in myself for my lack of stamina, and my housemate for not inviting me on this marathon. It is however a reflection on the series which has earned the distinction that it’s so bad, it’s good.

As is the nature of my role I learned almost immediately of the cliffhanger this morning. I wouldn’t be a very good journalist if I deprived accuracy of the article for my own personal gain, nor if I gave away a massive spoiler unknowingly. With Lily Collins and the rest of the cast reprising their roles for season three of Emily in Paris, there is more drama, more plot lines and all the polarising fashion you could want from this Darren Starr creation.

Speaking to GRAZIA, Lucas Bravo who plays Gabriel in the series reflected on filming in his home city of Paris.

“You know when you live in a city for that long, you don’t really see the little things,” he said. “You just walk down the street with a mission and you go from point A to point B. Filming in Paris brings light on things I don’t see anymore. It revives that idea of what a beautiful city I live in. The feeling stays with me for a few months after.”

Quite frankly, I want more (and a Kim Catrall cameo) and according to the internet they all do too. Without further ado, here are all the best social media reactions from season three of the hit Netflix show. Potential spoilers ahead.

Emily in Paris season 3 is on Netflix now.
