Ah, summer, a beautiful time when one looks into one’s wardrobe and realises they have nothing – nothing! – to wear in the heat. Thankfully, that’s where the internet comes in handy: when we turn to the world’s most stylish women for help curating our wardrobes, help which Bella Hadid is giving out readily.
Case in point, the model’s latest look, in which she not only demonstrated the perfect warm-weather outfit – and that yes, you can, in fact, wear boots in summer – but she did so while managing to have a chic couple’s co-ordinating moment with her boyfriend Marc Kalman.
On Tuesday, the pair were spotted walking around arm in arm, both wearing summer white looks that wouldn’t be amiss on a Greek Island. But they’re not in Europe (surprisingly, given the rest of Instagram is), they’re in Manhattan, making the downtown streets look as tropical as they come.
Hadid opted for a white above-the-knee skirt with a matching button-up top with a lace trim. She paired the set with knee-high, light brown leather boots – Emily Ratajkowski recently also endorsed wearing brown knee-high boots for summer – and a white shoulder bag. Adding a pop of colour, the 25-year-old wore a blue and orange scarf draped over her shoulders.
For his part, Kalman managed to look just as stylish as his very stylish girlfriend – no easy feat – in a white Ralph Lauren Polo button-up and a pair of off-white cargo pants with his trusty pair of Doc Martens loafers. As a keen Depop shopper and lover of all things vintage, it’s cute to see Hadid seems to have found her style match.
It also pays to note, this is far from the first time these two have worn matching couple looks. They’ve been spotted wearing secondhand ‘fits that compliment each other since the very early days of their relationship: They wore elevated sweats together in Milan, embraced knitwear together, show off their joint love of loafers often, and went full motorcycle chic once for Kalman’s birthday.
Name a more stylish celebrity couple, we’ll wait.
