Anne Hathaway’s red carpet moments may be few and far between these days, but on the red carpet at the 75th annual Cannes Film Festival, her custom Armani Privé gown more than made up for it.

Hathaway, who was in attendance for the premier of Armageddon Time, wore the sequinned white strapless column gown with an accompanying silk shawl. And of course, there was the jewellery: a Bulgari Mediterranean Reverie necklace inlaid with a 100,000-carat sapphire.
The brand shared the piece on Instagram, detailing it as a red carpet exclusive featuring the fantastic blue cushion cut stone from Sri Lanka.
Hathaway’s beauty look was simple, elegant and paired perfectly with the high-stakes outfit. Flawless skin, a shimmering eye, fluffy brows and her signature blow-dry and heavy-set bangs.

Armageddon Time is best classified as an American period drama film written, directed, and produced by James Gray. The autobiographical film is set in 1980 Queens, New York, and dissects themes such as white privilege, politics and guilt. According to reports, the project was only finalised a week prior to its Cannes debut — it received a standing ovation from those in attendance.
