Angelina Jolie has admitted she has a “very long list of no’s” when it comes to finding love again. Acknowledging that she has “been alone for a long time now,” the mum-of-six has now openly spoken about finding love again after her acrimonious split from Brad Pitt.
The pair were together for over 10 years and married for less than two when they shocked the world with an announcement in 2016 confirming they were ending their marriage. Their divorce has still not been finalised as they battle over custody. But now the actress, who stars in new drama Those Who Wish Me Dead, has shared how her “cool” children make sure she is okay.
“I have six very capable children,” Angie said in a recent interview; the 45-year-old is mom to Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12.
“Of course you wake up and you just feel like, ‘I’ve got to make sure they’re OK. I’ve got to make sure they’re mentally OK,’ but honestly I think a few years ago it switched and they’re thinking, ‘I’ve got to make sure mom’s OK.’
“We’re such a team so I am very, very lucky.. I’m always the one who worries but I don’t worry about them. They’re cool people.” She recently admitted that the circumstances of her life over the past few years forced her to return to acting so she could spend more time with her children.
She will next be seen in Marvel’s Eternals; directed by Oscar winner Chloe Zhao, the film follows a race of immortal beings who lived on Earth and shaped its history and civilisations. Angelina plays Thena, one of the Gods’ representatives on Earth, serving as Athena’s personal representative.
Marvel Studios recently dropped an epic teaser for their 2021 slate and Angie looked ethereal with shocking white hair.
