The storied Italian Maison Valentino has accented the festive season by dropping its iconic Valentino Garavani Stud Sign handbag in punchy new hues. In a creative collaboration with Valentino, I’ve styled the newest addition with the Maison’s Le Progrès Paris 3ème Arrondissement Spring 2022 collection, with a very vibrant take on palazzo to pool party. Manifest a greener world by wearing the colour of the season: green! As a child, we’re always asked, “What’s your favourite colour?” My brother’s was blue, but mine was always green. Perhaps it’s related to my birthstone being emerald or the fact that I find it calming, like being in nature. This season, expect to see every spectrum of green from Kelly green, mint and avocado right through to this crisp neon by way of silk shirting. Give this Overshirt in Faille some extra street cred with these high-waisted shorts in blue washed denim and a matching green bandeau.

Your handbag says a lot about who you are. My handbag has to weather many tasks: Off-duty, work and after work. Personally, I’m hard on my handbags, despite how much cash I’ve dropped on purchase. What I like about the Valentino Garavani Stud Sign bag is how the sliding chain strap provides the embellishment without feeling too precious. The hardware studs are the jewellery-like edge we need when refining our look. It basically says you’re ready for anything. Stick with classic black and wear it with a single strap to show off the studs, or turn up the voltage with a bolt of this season’s fun new colours like pink, green and orange.
