We’ve long suspected Kylie Jenner is being groomed to replace Kim Kardashian as the biggest star of the family, so the news that Kylie is getting her own show only serves as new proof.

As E! News announced today, the 19-year-old is set to star in her own docu-series Life Of Kylie, a spin-off of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

According to a press release, the eight-part season will take fans behind-the-scenes of Kylie’s glamorous life, from working on her popular Lip Kits to hanging out with her tight-knit circle of friends.

While there’s only one season scheduled so far, if it goes well it stands to reason Kris Jenner, Ryan Seacrest and the team behind the Kardashian reality show phenomenon, which has also included Khloe & Lamar, Kourtney & Kim Take New York and Rob & Chyna, will push the spin-off to continue.

With Kim Kardashian embracing the simple life and focusing on looking after her young children following her traumatic robbery in Paris, and Khloe and Kourtney’s enthusiasm to be on TV clearly waning with every episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, it looks like hopes are being pinned on Kylie to carry on the legacy.

It was also recently reported that Kris Jenner has pitched a cartoon show based on the family to a TV network, maybe in an effort to ensure longevity of the Kardashian brand well after the KUWTK cameras stop rolling.

Life Of Kylie will premiere in the Northern Hemisphere summer.
