If Kim Kardashian West is plotting a more permanent escape from the spotlight, Kylie Jenner might be gearing up to take her place.
On Wednesday Kylie revealed the first look at a new photoshoot in which she posed naked save for blue paint poured down the front of her body, and the sexual undertones and focus on her hourglass figure are certainly reminiscent of Kim.

Comparisons have long been drawn between Kim and Kylie, largely due to the younger star’s similarity in appearance and style to her older half-sister.
If Instagram follower numbers are the decider, Kylie could be posed to take over from Kim as the most popular KUWTK star. The 19-year-old’s followers are steadily climbing towards 79 million, edging closer towards Kim’s 86 million. Meanwhile Kendall falls short on 68 million, Khloe at 58 million and Kourtney at 48.6 million. But none of the latter post with the frequency or focus on physicality as Kylie.

Kim has been offline for five weeks since being robbed in Paris, and while she has filmed for KUWTK and attended two of husband Kanye West’s concerts in LA, she’s otherwise brought the Kim Kardashian machine to a screeching halt. Maybe, as America prepares for a new president, Kardashian family matriarch Kris Jenner has realised it’s an ideal time to begin the transition of power from Kim to Kylie.
