It’s official: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are married.
After months of feverish speculation, the singer and the Kansas City Chiefs star tied the knot at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, transforming one of the world’s most famous arenas into the setting for what is arguably one of the biggest weddings in pop culture history.
While we’re still awaiting an official look at the nuptials from the newlyweds themselves, Swift’s representative released a statement to People magazine confirming several aspects of the ceremony, with additional details emerging from guests and insiders as the celebrations continued long into the night.
From Jonathan Anderson‘s first-ever couture celebrity wedding dress for Dior to surprise performances from music legends and a guest list that reads like the seating chart for the Met Gala, here’s everything we know about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding so far.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding details
The bride wore Dior Haute Couture
Rumours had been swirling for months that Swift would choose Dior for her wedding day, given her longstanding relationship with the French fashion house, and it seems they were correct.
According to a statement from Swift’s representative, “The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom.”
The dress also marks a milestone for Anderson, becoming the designer’s first couture wedding gown created for a globally recognised celebrity.
The couple completed their looks with custom Christian Louboutin shoes, which the singer has worn heavily throughout her Eras Tour, while Swift accessorised with Cartier jewellery.
They skipped traditional Bridesmaids and Groomsmen
Despite widespread predictions that members of Swift’s close-knit squad, including Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid, would stand beside her as bridesmaids, the couple opted for a different approach.
Instead, Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, reportedly served as her Man of Honour, while Travis’ brother Jason Kelce took on Best Man duties.
According to TMZ, Jason and Kylie Kelce’s daughters served as flower girls, scattering petals as the bride made her way down the aisle.
Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony
One of the more unexpected details to emerge from the wedding was the identity of the officiant.
Actor Adam Sandler, who has become friends with the couple and recently shared the screen with Kelce in Happy Gilmore 2, took on the role of officiating the ceremony. TMZ also reports that Sandler performed an original song during the celebration, described as both humorous and heartfelt, centred on the couple’s love story.
The ceremony included emotional vows and musical surprises
According to a source speaking with People, Swift walked down the aisle to a stage where the couple exchanged vows that lasted around 20 minutes each, reading from matching books.
Guests were reportedly handed embroidered handkerchiefs before the ceremony, in preparation for an emotional occasion. They noted the date, the couple’s initials, and a lyric from Swift’s ‘Blank Space’: “So it’s gonna be forever…”
Swift also walked down the aisle accompanied by an acoustic rendition of one of her own songs.
Naturally, music played a significant role in the evening, with sources revealing that Paul McCartney performed The Beatles’ classic ‘I Want to Hold Your Hand’, while Stevie Nicks also took to the stage during the celebrations.
Outside Madison Square Garden, a giant sign lit up with the message “JUST&T MARRIED!” shortly after the couple exchanged vows, while the Empire State Building was illuminated in blue in honour of the bride.
The reception was a garden hidden inside Madison Square Garden
Following the ceremony, guests were reportedly guided downstairs, where Madison Square Garden had been transformed into an elaborate indoor greenhouse—perhaps as a nod to Kelce’s intimate garden proposal.

“It looked like a forest,” one insider said of the reception space, which featured lush greenery and garden-inspired surroundings.
In keeping with the couple’s playful approach to the celebrations, guests were also allegedly entertained with carnival games throughout the evening.
The guest list was packed with Hollywood royalty
If the ceremony itself felt like a royal wedding, the guest list certainly matched the occasion.
In the lead-up to the ceremony, celebrities including Nikki Glaser, George Stephanopoulos, Aaron Dessner, Julianne Moore, Bowen Yang, Alison Roman, Lucy Dacus, Jerrod Carmichael and Kate Berlant were photographed arriving at Madison Square Garden.
Inside, the guest list reportedly included Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, Gracie Abrams, Jennifer Lopez, Lena Dunham, the HAIM sisters, Ed Sheeran, Zoë Kravitz, Ethan Hawke, Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner, Hugh Grant, Mariska Hargitay, Jessica Chastain, Graham Norton, Jimmy Fallon, Ellie Goulding, Liam Hemsworth and Gabriella Brooks, Jenny Han, sombr, and countless other friends from across the worlds of music, film, fashion and sport.
Given the sheer scale of the celebrations, it’s likely there are still plenty more details to come. But between the couture, the music, the celebrity-filled guest list and an arena transformed into a woodland reception, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding has already delivered the romantic spectacle we would hope for.
