Revered Australian designer Rebecca Vallance-Gasan launched her new Nicky Hilton For Rebecca Vallance Holiday Capsule Collection on October 1. To celebrate, Vallance-Gasan teamed up with MyTeresa, and threw her new collaborator a glamorous birthday cocktail at Rick and Kathy Hilton’s Bel Air residence .
A collection of statement, festive minis, midis and gowns with all the bells and whistles the Australian brand is known for—embellishments, beads and bows—Vallance-Gasan and Hilton, who have been good friends for years, have fully captured the feeling of the holidays. That starry time of year when dressing glamorously equates to a bit of sparkle.
“No one loves dressing up for the holidays more than me,” says Hilton. “This collection celebrates the very best of a festive time of year.”
Guests in attendance included Paris Hilton, Kris Jenner, Kelly Osbourne, Jamie King, Jessie J, Jessica Hart, Maria Bakalova, Sutton Stracke, Amanda Hearst, Dylan Mulvaney, Rachel Zoe, Stacey Bendet and others. Pre party cocktails, GRAZIA caught up with Vallance-Gasan and Hilton.
“I’m incredibly proud to have had the chance to work with my dear friend, Nicky Hilton—an international icon—on creating a truly special collection,” says Vallance-Gasan. “Together, we’ve brought to life a range that reflects everything we both cherish timeless style, impeccable craftsmanship, and a celebration of femininity. “We had such a good time designing this collection because we have such a harmonious design language–we were constantly bouncing ideas off each other. We felt like we were in Holiday mode–fun and festive. And that is exactly the spirit we want people to feel when they are in our designs.”
