Known for her roles in Baby Driver and I Care A Lot, Eiza González is set to make her next appearance in the upcoming action thriller, Ambulance. Before the film releases globally tomorrow, the Mexican actress appeared alongside co-stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II for the US premiere.

González stepped onto the red carpet wearing a sequinned Fendi gown which featured black and red draping at the shoulder. The look which was styled by Elizabeth Saltzman was paired with a stunning High Jewellery diamond and spinel necklace from Bulgari. The necklace is adorned with nearly 20 carats of diamonds, set in platinum and boasts a pear shaped spinel at just over 21 carats. The look was finished with a pair of diamond studs. It comes after González appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote the film on Monday wearing a relaxed velvet green suit.

The promotional tour for Ambulance has certainly arrived with many unexpected sartorial moments from the 32-year-old. At the Berlin premiere in late March, González took a leaf from Gigi Hadid and transformed her hair for a platinum blonde moment courtesy of hairstylist, Christian Wood. The hair wizard is also known for the locks behind Sophie Turner and Euphoria star, Maude Apatow. Just over one week later she was seen with her usual brunette colour.

González will portray paramedic ‘Cam Thompson’ in the new movie. The film directed by Michael Bay, follows Gyllenhaal and Abdul-Mateen II as adoptive brothers who become the targets of a citywide manhunt after they rob a bank to pay for medical bills. The robbery goes wrong when the duo hijack an ambulance containing a wounded police officer and EMT.

In a recent interview the actress recalled the moment she and Bay “went at each other” on set when she disagreed about a certain direction of her character.

“[The argument was over] Something I did. I was frustrated because listen, I felt a lot of pressure to bring to life a paramedic that felt real in the time that we’re living. First responders have been dedicating their lives fully, forever obviously, but more than ever,” she said per Screen Rant. “It’s very transparently obvious what they are bringing to our society. And so I just didn’t want to make a joke or cartoon version of who they were.”

Ambulance is in cinemas from April 7.
