Kendall and Kylie Jenner are under fire over T-shirts in their latest fashion collection.

Many have accused the sisters of being disrespectful, as the prints released in their Kendall + Kylie range feature their own images superimposed over music icons including The Notorious B.I.G, Tupac, Jim Morrison, Pink Floyd and Metallica.

Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace was among the biggest critics, writing on Instagram:

“The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me. I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my Son Christopher to sell a t-shirt.”

Hours after the controversy began, the shirts – priced at USD $125 each – disappeared from the Kendall + Kylie website. It’s not clear if they were removed due to complaints or have sold out, however the official Kendall + Kylie Instagram account deleted posts about the shirts, indicating they’re aware of the upset.

Many took issue with the reality stars placing their faces over those of music icons, especially as some – Biggie, Tupac and Jim Morrison from The Doors – are dead.

The controversy comes less than three months after Kendall was slammed for her part in a Pepsi ad that was criticised for being tone-deaf and offensive around issues of race and protest in America. Pepsi pulled the commercial and apologised.
